We strive to use sustainable fibers that have minimal impact on the environment. Exploring different cultures through the world of textiles, Ikat, is an Indonesian decorative technique in which threads are tie-dyed before weaving. Ikat, meaning “to tie” or “to bind” in Indonesian, involves applying bindings, which resist dye penetration to the threads in the desired pattern, the threads are then dyed, the bindings are removed and finally the threads are woven into fabric.
The Ikat textile is combined with linen, a versatile and eco-friendly material that requires minimal water to produce. Linen is known for its durability, breathability and softness that improves with time, making it a great choice for our designs.
