The East Africa Coin, sourced from a market in Nairobi's CBD, dates back to 1925 and is valued at 5 cents. Cast in brass using the lost-wax method and gold plated 22k.
Accented by Mother of Pear, an iridescent mollusk shell. Nacre is the organic substance produced to protect the shell and gives Mother of Pearl its iridescent effect and distinct beauty.
Hand carved by Dekwar, a master shell and stone carver in Bali, the earrings are first handmade by a brass smith to form the master and cast in brass using the lost-wax method. Dipped in gold 22k.
All our gemstone earrings are one-of-a-kind pieces.
