Mother of Pearl is the iridescent inside lining of a mollusk shell. Nacre is the organic substance produced to protect the shell and gives Mother of Pearl its iridescent effect and distinct beauty.
 
This shell necklace is wrapped in brass and gold plated, strung on snake chain and gold plated 22k.
