This Abalone shell necklace is carved in the form of two upside horns, set in sterling silver. Carved by Dekwar, a master shell and stone carver in Bali.
Abalone are a type of mollusk, like clams and oysters, known for their colourful, iridescent shell. The shell of abalone is extremely durable and was once used as currency by tribes native to North America.
